Riverview Medical Center is in the center of Red Bank, New Jersey, on the banks of the Navesink River. Torcon has completed a number of projects at Riverview, including interior renovations, new construction, a new 185-car parking garage, two new entrances, and extensive site work to recast interior roadways and parking lots.
Our most recent work at the hospital was an interior renovation to expand the 2N/2W second floor inpatient unit. The new nursing unit provides 23 private (single occupancy) patient rooms. The renovation required a full interior demolition of the existing space. Extensive mechanical upgrades were completed to support the new patient rooms. Additionally, the exterior façade was improved, with new larger windows to maximize views of the Navesink River.
The new space includes an oversized family waiting room and a centrally located nursing station with enhanced technology to maximize communication.
