The OceanFirst Bank Center is a multi-use sports and entertainment facility, providing a 4,100 seat arena for the University’s Division 1 basketball program. The Center also houses a fitness center, 200M indoor track with jumping pits, locker rooms for all sports, bookstore, Hall of Fame, ticket lobby, Booster Club, training rooms, and infrastructure for television.
The 153,000 sq. ft. facility is situated in the center of the campus and serves not only the athletes but 90 percent of the 6,000 graduate and undergraduate students who are not participants in the 19 NCAA Division 1 teams that play at Monmouth. The design of the Center integrates student amenities like a bookstore and copy center with athletic venues such as a special event arena. The arena space can be set-up to host commencement exercises, special exhibitions, or as a concert venue. The upper level of the Center serves as a conference facility with visitor amenities and private suites.
