Torcon joined the ETS project team early as CM during the schematic design phase. The project GMP was established at 80% construction documents, based on Torcon’s estimate and select subcontractor bidding in key trades.
The facility was designed as a high-performance facility. Raised flooring is used throughout the building to ensure flexibility and adaptability, as well as a combination of functionality and technology. The design is focused on sustainability through daylighting and views, and thermal comfort and controllability of the interior environment and enhanced energy efficiency.
