Torcon completed an interior renovation on the ground floor of St. Joseph’s Medical Center to create a state-of-the-art Ambulatory Care Center. The project area encompassed the entire wing of the Regan Building and provides five ambulatory operating rooms, three endovascular operating rooms and one pain management treatment room. Rooms for 38 new pre- and post-op patient beds are included, serving both the operating rooms and endovascular rooms. New men’s and women’s locker rooms were also added.
The project scope also included a new fire suppression system and plumbing, piping, and fixtures to support the new area. Utility upgrades included a new RTU HVAC system (booster fans for existing units and VAV boxes, ductwork and piping), power wiring & devices, fire alarm, lighting, communications, nurse call and security systems.
