MIKE HENNEBERY RECEIVES ACCNJ SAFETY AWARD

Torcon Corporate Safety Director, Mike Hennebery, CHST, has been selected to receive the first Mike Corbett Memorial Safety Award by the Associated Construction Contractors of New Jersey. The Award recognizes individuals who have shown an exemplary commitment to safety.

Mike Corbett was an OSHA Compliance Assistance Specialist who passed away suddenly earlier this summer. The ACCNJ named this award in recognition of his exemplary commitment to safety every day.

Mike Hennebery is a 25-year-plus member of Torcon’s staff and truly embraces the company’s commitment to safety and the well-being of all our employees and subcontractors on our projects. He has also not only been an integral part of Torcon’s safety team throughout his career, but he has also been actively engaged with OSHA’s Voluntary Protection Programs and has been named a Special Government Employee by OSHA.

As noted by the ACCNJ, this award celebrates Mike Hennebery’s commitment to safety and showcases his relationship with OSHA, particularly with Mike Corbett, as they worked side-by-side to achieve many of Torcon’s safety and VPP recognitions. To learn more about the ACCNJ’s award, click here.
