Torcon Construction Management serves the New York tri-state area with general construction, design-build, project management, site development, pre-construction, value engineering, renovations, interior remodeling, and construction management services. Our mission is to build meaningful projects that make a fundamental difference in the communities we serve.
One of our landmark projects in New York was a $200M contract to build the National Synchrotron Light Source (NSLS) II, part of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Brookhaven National Laboratory in Upton. Torcon served as the general contractor on this massive ring building designed to create a next-generation cyclic particle accelerator. Adding even more complexity, the 9/11 attacks occurred during the project’s construction, which led us to develop additional security upgrades to the facility.
We also had the privilege of being part of the joint-venture construction management team that replaced the American Airlines terminal at JFK International Airport in Queens, New York. This 2.2 million sq. ft. project was built in 17 phases to maintain airport operations throughout.
We’ve been proud to contribute our services to the region, not only through our innovative and diverse construction projects but also through our continued partnerships with local subcontractors and suppliers.
