Construction at Cooper University Hospital’s Project Imagine is advancing rapidly
Construction is moving full speed ahead at Cooper University Health Care’s “Project Imagine”. Work shifted this month from sitework and deep foundations to major concrete placement. Center core elevator and stormwater tank mat slabs are complete with pile cabs and foundation walls ongoing. A 750-ton hydraulic crane, assisted by two additional cranes, mobilized to erect a tower crane. With a top height of 420 feet above street level (more than 50 Rocky statues high) and a 220-foot reach, this crane will erect nearly 5,000 pieces of structural steel secured by over 150,000 nuts and bolts. This project is building incredible momentum as the Torcon / P.Agnes Joint Venture continues forward.
