Torcon Breaks Ground at Deborah Heart and Lung

Torcon is proud to announce the award of Deborah Heart and Lung Center’s A-Building Expansion project. A groundbreaking ceremony was recently held at Deborah’s campus in Browns Mills, New Jersey.

The new project will add three floors on top of an existing two-story hospital and will upgrade MEP systems and the hospital’s elevators. Our team will be led by Project Executive Amy Novak, LEED AP and Project Manager Tim Stringfellow, working out of Torcon’s Philadelphia office. This project is part of an overall $100 million + capital expansion program that Deborah is undertaking to better accommodate patients, as well as their clinical and support staff in their facilities.

Deborah is New Jersey’s only specialty heart, lung and vascular hospital and is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2022. Deborah’s mission is to provide leading edge care to their patients without causing financial distress. In the past 100 years, they have never sent a patient a bill for services. Torcon is honored to be a partner on such an important project for such a respected client. We look forward to the impact this facility will have not only on the local community, but the greater New Jersey and Pennsylvania region
