Peter Gardner, P.E., LEED BD+C

Sustainability Manager

Mr. Gardner has more than 35 years of experience in the design, construction and commissioning of technical facilities. He has focused on project assignments for a range of corporate, healthcare, and academic client groups. He oversees Torcon's sustainability program, including commissioning services.

Peter is actively involved on a national level with ASHRAE and several of its technical committees, and is author of the ASHRAE Handbook. He has given technical presentations on lab and vivarium design, sustainability, and commissioning at many industry groups, including I2SL and AALAS.  He is past-chair of the ISPE HVAC Community of Practice and is a chapter lead on the ISPE Quality Laboratory Baseline Engineering Guide and HVAC Good Practice Guide as well as the ISPE Sustainable Design Guide, which is currently in development. Mr. Gardner is a licensed professional engineer, a LEED Accredited Professional for the U.S. Green Building Council and a Green Advantage Certified Practitioner.
